Orange Blossom
Elegant: delicate, nuanced
How do we feel about this coffee?
It feels fresh, juicy, and sweetly harmonious, like an orange blossom, candied grapefruit slices, and sipping Peach Iced Tea on a sunset stroll through a lavender field, to Summer Means New Love by The Beach Boys.
Grown by 400 smallholder farmers near the Qadamessa kebele in the Agaro region of Oromia, Ethiopia, this local landrace has been handpicked at peak ripeness and delivered to the famed Duromina washing station for meticulous processing.
The microregion benefits from abundant rainfall and impressive altitudes ranging from 1850 to 1980 meters. Farmers practice intercropping and use nutrient-rich soil, allowing them to grow quality coffee without fertilizers.

Once at Duromina, the coffee undergoes washing and mechanical depulping, followed by an overnight soak. After a careful fermentation process, the coffee is dried on raised beds for six to eight hours a day over about a week, with regular turns to ensure it dries evenly.
