Built on our love of African coffees, this coffee is bright, buoyant, and makes us happy! Bouncy Castle typically showcases a single-origin washed Ethiopian coffee but is open to any sparkly coffees as long as there’s something vibrant, sweet, and fun in the flavour.

Ethiopia Keffa
This " Tsebel " coffee, as it's called, is sourced through our importing partner, Catalyst Coffee, and their long-time producer partner, Dinkalem Ademe, who runs sites in Wush Wush and Dimbira, Keffa. It is located in the little village of Wush Wush. It is a washing station owned and operated by Dinkalem Ademe and his wife Sofiya, who source their coffee from about 2500 smallholder farms in the surrounding area.  This specific lot, from Dinkalem’s Wush Wush site, consists of local landrace varieties, naturally adapted from the Wush Wush variety near the Agama River that conveys a classic “Washed Ethiopia” profile of bright citrus and warm florals, with some lovely fruit.
