Comfort, comfort, comfort!! We love it because it’s a rich, and heavy cup with a creamy texture, that's developed enough to bring out layers of deep chocolate, toasted nut and molasses flavours without imparting any of those pesky charcoal notes.

COFFEE STORY
Detour Dark is all about roast development, built on our love of comforting flavours in coffee. Typically combining coffees from Central and South America, we focus solely on caramelization and roast, rather than the origin with a focus on the flavours developed through the caramelization process during the roast, without the impact of heavy charcoal or smoky attributes. Choosing high-grown coffees that lend themselves to a longer roast and hotter temperature while maintaining structure, balance, and sweetness is key to creating a big, rich, full-bodied coffee.

Amazing dark roast!!!

This coffee is awesome. Dark roasted, rich, smooth, and absolutely none of the bitterness that you can get with some dark roasted or should I say over roasted coffee. Will definitely be buying again and again and again.

OBSESSED.

Best Dark Espresso I’ve Had

Unreal dark espresso. Deep cocoa and molasses notes with a clean finish. Extracted at 2:1 ratio and it was perfect. No bitterness even during a long pour experiment.
