Come make the Peachy Keen Daydream, Iced Coffee recipe of the Summer
It's officially summer break!! This year, we're heading straight to the lake, kicking up our feet, soaking in the sweet sweet heat of the summer sun, and sipping on this peachy dream (inspired by our latest Daydream summer blend coffee, **ICED of course**) while we catch a tan and make some new core memories - introducing the Peachy Keen Daydream!!
Get ready to make this one in bulk to share with friends & family. You'll be able to make the peach component ahead of time to skip out on assembly time when it's time to brew. For this recipe we'll be bringing ye' old trusty Aeropress. With an easy inverted brewing recipe in your back pocket, for less fuss, on the road brewing, whilst you're making memories and yapping around the campfire with pals. Peachy Keen Dreams Ingredients:
- Canned Peaches
- Maple Syrup or Sugar to sweeten
- Fork (to combine)
- Daydream Coffee Beans
- Grinder
- Stove Pot
- Heat Source (Stove or Camping cooktop over the fire)
- 300 grams of ice
- 6oz/170grams Whole Milk or Alternative Milk (carry in your thermos)
Measurements:
- 16 grams of Daydream (or Punch Buggy Espresso works wonderful too!!)

200 grams of homemade peach compote (cooled)
- 6oz of milk or alternate milk
- 200 grams of ice
Recipe Instructions:
Peach Compote 🍑
Homemade peaches: our recommendation is to pre-combine ahead of beverage assembly prior to going camping and keep on ice, in a mason jar in your packed cooler, but you can always make it over the camp stove fire as well.
- In a cooking container, combine one can of sliced peaches canned or fresh and a tablespoon of maple syrup
- Cook and simmer until cooked enough to combine with fork or spatula
- Seal in airtight container and let it rest overnight
*For reference, one 400mL can of sliced peaches turned into peach compote should be enough to make 4-5 Peachy Keen beverages
- Heat water, ideally to around 205 Fahrenheit/96 Degrees Celsius
- Grind 16 grams of Daydream coffee to a medium-course setting, similar to sea salt
- Wet filter prior to adding coffee & water into your aeropress (add two filters if you prefer a cleaner finish on your brew)
- Stir 7-8 times and wait 2-minutes for brewing prior to plunging your aeropress
- Press until you hear the hiss and stop before you plunge until the bottom, this helps to have a cleaner cup
- Set aside and wait to cool slightly
- Add ice into your preferred beverage vessel
- Add 200 grams of peach compote
- Add your brewed Daydream on top
- Add 6oz./170 grams milk or alternative milk for more of a creamy finish
- Top with maple syrup for a sweetened finish
