Rwandan coffees are known for their complexity, sweetness and full-body and this crop from Gatare is no exception. Not only are the coffees produced in Rwanda almost exclusively heirloom Bourbon varietals, but the volcanic soil, high elevation and abundant rainfall combine to create ideal growing conditions giving these coffees their unique character.
In the cup, this coffee is incredibly balanced and sweet with a hint of spice and notes of sugarcane, dried apple and cola.
