Los Naranjos, Colombia Espresso
Detour Coffee Roasters

Back for the sixth year in a row, the association of coffee producers "Los Naranjos" is another example of small-parcel Colombian coffee culture at its best. With notes of grapefruit, amaretto and toffee the quality of this lot speaks directly to the kinship and common-drive that thrives in the hills above the humble town of San Agustin, located on the shore of the Los Naranjos River.
Harvested at full-ripeness, the diminutive Colombian farms where this collective coffee is grown, averaging just 1.5 hectares each, delivers massively impressive flavour. The sharing of techniques and practices between this group of producers is one of the most important factors in the progress of this association and the success of the group is absolutely contingent upon the discipline of the individual.
