The espresso roast of Yambrasbamba embraces the rich and fruity pastry-like sweetness and the heavy texture inherent to this coffee. It has sweet and slightly funky aromatics that lead to notes of candied apple, blackberry jam, and fudge. Grown in the higher altitudes of the Alto Mayo forest in Northern Peru, this fully washed Typica and Caturra blend is grown by 8 producers of the Coopbam cooperative and has gone through a really long 18-22 hour wet fermentation and a 12-22 days drying period on patios or parabolic dryers.
